    Will there be a new laptop available in US that is based on Clevo B5130M. The current version is based on B5100M.

    The difference between the two laptops (maybe the only difference, unless I missed something) is the graphics card. The current Clevo B5100M has nVidia GT 330M (1GB - DX10.1) and the Clevo B5130M has nVidia GT 425M (1GB - DX11).

    Any thoughts?

    this was talked about on saturday and as you mentioned the only difference is the graphics card and dx 10-11
    these are already available from kobalt in the uk and were an automatic upgrade to the 425 graphics card so the same should happen in the usa as well.

    notebookcheck says GT425 is only very slightly better performance than 330M

    Thanks for the info/comments guys.

    I think, even if 425M = 330M (no better or worse), I would still prefer 425M because it has DX11.

    I can't wait for Clevo - US distributors to start selling them. Hopefully, the price will be the same.

    Also, I notice that Intel N 6300 is not available for B5130M. Bummer but not a deal breaker due to "newer" gfx card.

    @burninh20:

    Do those wireless upgrades really make that big a difference in wireless performance ?

    "Well the 6200 has 2 antennas and the 6300 has 3 antennas. So in theory the 6300 should have better reception. It doesn't mean better range, but because of the extra antenna, connection speed will be better at the same range. So you could say you have a better range." - c-mattic
