Noticed that there's a couple of things in the Control Center 3.0 that don't seem to work properly. I tried to google for more info but mostly there's people having other kinds of issues with it. Maybe you guys can give some advice on these:

    1) The light bar on the X170 seems to turn itself back on even when the brightness has previously been left on 0 (only want to turn it off, apparently). Any way to force it to stay off for good?

    2) The 4 different power modes don't seem to do anything. You click on them, and there's no way to enter their respective settings to see them or configure them. I remember in my previous Clevo's laptop, I could see what these power modes were and edit their settings.

When does the light bar turn back on?

That's how it is supposed to be, it will go back to your settings when windows loads up.

Go back to "my" setting? My setting it off (brightness = 0). It should stay off but it comes back on at each boot. It does turn itself off only if I open the LED keyboard section of the Control Center, since then it does read my setting, which is off.

Yes, it's not writing a permanent firmware register. Only s current value.

But it does save the color of the light bar for example, so it must be writing something...

Any way to edit the power modes settings, or at least see what they are set to?
