    Hi there,

I have been given a non-working Clevo D40 EV (either for repair or to strip down for parts for a possible arts project) and have a couple of questions so any help would be very much appreciated.

    1) When plugged in to the power supply, the power status light on the power supply blinks on and off in a regular pattern. This happens on two power supplies I have tried and I wonder if anyone might know the cause for this?

    2) I have seen several posts asking about taking one of these apart but seemingly no actual advice on how to do it. I have managed to take out all the screws I can find, remove the keyboard and un-clip all the case clips etc. but somewhere there is still something holding it all together. I was wondering if anyone had actually managed to get one apart and if so, could they let me in on the secret please :)

    Many thanks in advance,

Surely someone must have taken one of these apart before?? Can anyone at least suggest somewhere else to look as so far this is the only site I've seen any serious discussion of these models.
