So, I have a D900F currently running an MXM-based GTX 480 which I wish to upgrade to a GTX 680M or GTX 675MX, which apparently needs a specific motherboard BIOS update with GTX 680M compatibilty to recognize or boot from the card. Can anyone confirm this, or is it just a vBIOS update needed? If it does indeed require a new BIOS beyond 1.0.0.9, does anyone know where I can find this? I've heard that Prema's BIOS mods are the go-to for such things, but there don't appear to be any available download links from my searching on Google. Any help is much appreciated.

I have never seen a D900F that wasn't compatible with a 680M(non dell version), so I'm unsure what you're talking about.

I know what he's talking about. The 1.009 Vbios description says that it makes it possible to run the 480m (Fermi) but doesn't say anything about Kepler compatibility.
My D900F was on Prema Bios 1.009/ EC 1.004, and the 680m ran good with it after Danishblunt helped me get the best vbios on to the GPU.
You should be good to go " if" you do have a Clevo GPU and have the right vbios installed on it.
Being that it's an older machine, Prema will most likely hook you up with a vbios for it if you can get up with him or maybe Danishblunt can help you? He did a great job on mine! -

So Danishblunt...do you think my D900F with BIOS 1.00.9 will be able to use the 680m? Or do you still have some vbios/files that would help me put? Thank you and Happy New Year!
