    Clevo D900F and mSATA SSD disks

    Hi, i have a Clevo D900F (Sager NP9285) but i don't have money to buy a SSD Disk (in Argentina SSD disks are very very expensive) for this reason i want buy a little msata SSD disk (if they works in my notebook) for accelerate my windows system (sorry for my english).

    According to Crucial's website, the D900F is listed as being mSATA compatible. As far as I know, if one mSATA works, they all do. Crucial guarantees that anything bought on their site will fit your laptop and it specifically lists an SSD option: Crucial USA - scan results

    You would indeed be correct. Interesting that Crucial's site is wrong. I found the service manual - your machine was made way before mSATA came out. Equipped with a 2xx nVidia GPU would put it around the same time that I got my M17x which was in 2009. mSATA wasn't even announced until late 2009.

    The D900F was around before mSATA drives were as Ethrem mentioned so it would not support one. They do make boards that you can mount a mSATA onto and it will plug into a SATA port.
