    from the way i see it, yes

    here's the reply i got from PCtorque
    Nicholas,

    I called Warrentech and spoke with a Manager and Supervisor regarding this issue. They will not let me email them the invoice to receive a 13 digit code, they claim the registration code must be known. Is there anyone in Singapore that could go through your paperwork to find this registration code. I am sorry for the inconvenience but there is little that I could do. Let me know.

    Nicholas,

    I have been speaking with Warrentech on this issue and there is simply nothing that I can do without the registration number that was sent to you. I have tried absolutely everything and I am hoping that you are able to find this number.

    and the reply from warrantech;
    We do not have a record of any plan until it is registered. The dealers buy the service plans in bulk from a distributor. Each plan has a unique number to identify it. We have no way of knowing which plan was sold without the membership number. Once the plan is registered (should be done within 10 days from the date of purchase) we can service the laptop even if you lose your copy of the plan. As I have previously stated, the plan is not valid until it is registered.

    And i mean....
    There's no advice whatsoever that I should register when i purchase
    and now they tell me?
