    Hi,

    I have a Clevo D900T running Windows XP SP3.
    3GHz/Go 6800/3GB DDR2

I have been very happy with this laptop for many years however the demand for higher gfx (gaming, such as SC2 etc) has lead me to look at possible upgrades.
I have read around the forum and noticed some posts regarding mobo revisions etc.

My mobo seems to be revision 5.2a (I looked at a sticker on one of the memory module slots), I am wondering if this is the correct revision?
My power pack says its 20v / 9A which if I cast my memory back to school is 180watts.

It would also appear the BIOS is running version v146 1.00.01

My question is, do I have any possibilties to upgrade this old faithful beast? If so what are my options?
If it would not be worth upgrading, are there any recommendations?

    Regards,
    Jason

no you cannot upgrade it. you need revision motherboard 6.1 or 6.2 and it can then accept the 7800 GTX or 7950 GTX to double your gpu power from the 6800. you would then also need the 220w psu with the 7 series gpu.
