Please report if there are any improvements on you machines and post your previous driver too.
Use Driversweeper after uninstalling the driver to remove all of the leftover files.

new owners please note that these are modified drivers and will not be supported by your OEM supplier.
use at your own risk. -
They are not modified...Look at the links - directly from the clevo ftp server
-
Any reason to use these versus the ones on Nvidia's website? NVidia has 266.58 version out ...
-
i stand corrected. i thought all drivers from ltv2g were modded or played with in some way.
hopefully will have some new ones direct from nvidia soon. -
All this talk about no driver support for the 485m has got me a lil worried.
Will sager or clevo update drivers if there is a problem with a game? I'm thinking ahead for BF3 -.- -
No, you will have to download the driver from Nvidia's website.
-
Can't 470m and 460m users just use the 267.24 beta official nvidia ones?
-
Currently downloading...maybe I'll report back in a while.
-
Also currently downloading, will install to see if anything's changed. Currently using Sager's 265.77 driver (for np7280) from their site.
-
One would think that, but unfortunately grabbing the ones directly from nvida ends up with you gettting the old "card not supported" error. Seems you need one from clevo/sager, or modify the nvidia one.
-
Did a 3Dmark Vantage and 3Dmark 11 run of the newer drivers. No overclocking done.
Had a few minor increases in my results, with 3dmark 11 hitting the 3K mark on the NP8150 w/ GTX 485m. Yay!
NVIDIA's 3D Stereoscopic is back on the control panel, in comparison with the 265.77, and overall i think it performs better. -
Really? I heard people with those cards installed them fine without modded inf's. Although I don't have a Clevo, the Clevo card in my M15x also was recognised immediately. Hm...strange
-
It's wacky but Nvidia does not seem to be supporting they're new cards. Specifically the 485M. Considering how much they cost you would HOPE they would. If they are going to be like this next time I will buy the ATI card option.
-
Made this inf for use with the 267.24 driver if anyone is interested in it.
It supports the Clevo: GTX 460M, 470M, 480M, 485m and GT 540M.
It also supports: Quadro FX 2800M, 880M and Geforce GT 425M, 310M, 330M.
If it's useful to people I'll be making Clevo support modded INF's for new driver releases as they pop up.
To use it just extract nvcv.inf to the Display.Driver folder of the driver package from Nvidia.comAttached Files:

ok,so what about games? how did the new drivers fair most especially on 480mgtx?
-
Worked like a charm ... thanks for sharing
-
You're welcome
Glad to get feedback on it, I'll keep updating the inf for new builds as they come out. -
Any word if there is an improvement?
I have 2 x GTX485m -
Theres a significant improvement with the newest beta driver
-
I have a Clevo X7200 and I could not install the Beta driver without the modded file, but I am running dual 485's and a Xeon W3680
-
guys quick question, should this option always be available regardless of whether a 3D display is connected to the machine either internal or external
cheers thx -
Yep, it should. Even if you don't have a 120hz display, you always have the option of enabling the stereoscopic anaglyph features. This means you can use the red/blue 3d glasses in games instead, on any monitor (and it costs like 60 cents to $8 for glasses, no fancy display or setup needed). I ran that for years before going for the 3d Vision kit.
-
ok sorry I didn't ask the right question, should have mentioned I was reffering to the steroscopic options in the nvidia control panel, are they only available when you have the emitter gear installed and have a recognised 3D monitor/TV attached otherwise are they absent ?
I know it's a bit of a weird question but we are trying to understand why they are not available on a system we have added a 485m GPU
thanks for the reply -
Geoffxx is referring to a thread in the Alienware 17x forum where they're trying to get a 485m to work in this guys m17x R3. well, i say trying, but they've got it working mostly, just no 3D to their 120hz display.

on a side note: i lol'd when i say that canadian dude's 485 card got sent to Australia by mistake.. didnnt post cuz i didnt want to make him feel worse
-
Stereoscopic only works for me when I use an external monitor (any old external monitor) and not on my built in screen....
-
sorry to ask again lol, are you saying the steroscopic menu is absent until you connect external monitor ? i.e. not there or greyed out ?
cheers -
So I'm guessing I should update my drivers once my np8130 comes right?
-
hi guys,im new member here,so i have some questions.
i have the greek reseller of clevop150hm,named (turbo-x iron i7-850).
it has i-7 2720qm and gtx460m.the drivers that i have its 265.77.
nvidia has 267.76 but when i download the drivers can't install tomy laptop!
the driver is not compatible with this card!!!
why? -
The 485M is not supported in that WHQL driver release.
We'll have to wait until NVIDIA releases a driver compatible with the card without having to use modified .INFs. -
Note that the newer Nvidia Notebook GPU Driver installs now include their own 'clean' installation option where it will delete everything and install from fresh. There is also an upgrade option that retain all of your current profiles. Driver sweeper is great but I have had no problems from using either built in option of the Nvidia install.
Edit: The Clevo Driver 266.40 Mobile Driver installed perfectly on my GTX 485M without me needing to do anything special. -
I too got rid of the sweeper programs, as soon as Nvidia included the clean install option.
Say goodbye to all the tedium of the 'uninstall -> Safe Mode -> Driver Sweeper -> etc...' nonsense.
Clevo Driver 266.40 Mobile - 485M, 480M, 470M, 460M Supported
