Hello everyone :). I just got my new m570RU today, and installed the OS myself. I am having a few issues however with the drivers. Note that I have installed all of the drivers on the CD that was provided.

    1) None of the usb ports are working correctly, and in device manager, they have a ? mark next to them. I have installed the chipset drivers given to me on the CD, and I though that those contained the necessary drivers for the USB ports.

    2) The wireless card will not turn on when I try to toggle it (fn + F11). This means that I cannot install the drivers through the CD. I tried a manual install of the drivers, and it still is not working. I was under the impression that the intergrated adapter was standard in all models of this laptop, but it looks like right now I don't have an actual card inside the laptop!

One thing to note about question 2 would be that in my device manager there is an "unknown device" under the "other devices" category. I am taking a guess on this one, but could that be the "missing" wireless card? If so, how could I go about fixing that?

BTW, other than those issues the rig works great. I have not been able to do any actual gaming on it yet (no usb = no mouse =.=), but the stress tests I did gave me stellar results. Thanks for any help :D.

I'm probably not qualified to be answering any technical questions but I did install all my drivers when I reinstalled Vista 32 bit in lieu of the 64 bit version. Did you follow the order as it stated in the manual and restart after each one like it says?

Ok, I reinstalled the chipset and it let me install the optional drivers afterwards (Make sure to click optional and install the wireless etc).

It wouldnt let me install til I reinstalled the chipset.

Ok I retract the above statement, still wont let me install, it says the USB root hub is ??? and it says its broken or I need to replace it or something.

So are your usb drivers working now? My camera also wont seem to work either. I can toggle it on, but the program does not detect it. Could you tell me what files you installed to get it all working? Thanks :)

Yea, I re-installed the chip-set and then after that, I installed Bison cam + the other file in the 02camera drivers folder (there was bison cam and something else included in those folders) - although I am not sure why it worked, hopefully it helps you.

Well I did a reinstall of the chipset drivers. After that I went to the USB ports in device manager and installed each driver separately. It worked out and everything is good now :). Great machine btw.
