The backlight of my Clevo M570RU is dead, i think it is better to buy a new lcd than try to replace the CCFL backlight, but what monitor to buy?
I've seen some in ebay for like $70/80, most of them almost new, but there are different models, mine is LP171WU1 (TL) (A2), there is also A3, A4, A5, A7, etc, what is the best choice for this model?
BTW, i did bought a new inverter, but didn't work.

You should get one with the same resolution at least.. but i think this is a sign to replace the laptop =)

But for example, in LG LCD pdf's, 2013 says that the 1920x1200 model without LED backlight is LP171WU3 with better brightness, better response time, better contrast ratio (Link: http://www.beyondinfinite.com/lcd/Library/LG-Philips/LG-PHILIPS-LCD.pdf )
