I have bought a external case for the optical drive of my Clevo, now it works with all other computers, but is not working in Clevo M570RU.

The optical drive is PATA, the external case is USB to IDE (PATA), when i connect in Windows 7 PRO, it fails in installing drivers, if i have lagacy usb on (bios) it stops in bios screen, i need to remove the usb cable to continue.

What it should be? Sometimes Windows 7 crashes when the optical drive is connected...

    I have Windows 7 PRO 64bits
