I've been a part of the computer/gaming industry for over 8 years now... ever since I was in High School and met some guys in the industry while hanging out at world renowned arcades. (these guys from Square, Westwood, Capcom totally do not look the part) :)

Then I got to go to my first E3 when I was 16 and been part of it ever since.

Does anyone else have problems with his Clevo M570RU and a FirewireExpressCard?? My Laptop doesn't recognize any FireWireCard (Ive tried 6 of them) If I use a TVTUner ExpressCard or an USBExpressCard there is no problem...

I installed the drivers for the slot (under winxp and vista).
No additional drivers are required for a firewireexpresscard, windows has already the drivers for standard firewirecards (quote from user manual).
But my windows doesn't even bring up the "found new device" popup hardware wizard. Sometimes it brings a "standard pci-to-pci-bridge" with a yellow "!" on the device manager, but it doens't recognize the card at all.
I had a usb with firewire-expresscard and windows only recognized the usb Ports...

    Great review.

Sad thing about the ports mounted on the right side though. :(
