Clevo M570RU With the White Trimming?

I need one of these delivered to Canada.

The white trimming, I probably won't purchase the Orange Trimming because I'm not digging it at the moment .

So, who besides "Rock Extreme" (Overpriced) has this chassis. Why are they so hard to find?

 

I contacted Eurocom about this and they said they will be getting them late this week. I will be purchasing mine from them assuming it will be the revision for the 8800m.

EDIT: The orange trim is hiddeous. I don't see how Sager can get away with advertising it on their website and not offer it.

 

I would suggest checking with the other resellers also. They should all be getting them about the same time. But Eurocom is Canadian.

 

according to sager they will not be coming to the usa. this is from frank at sager and dan also said he does not believe we will see them here. just so you know they will prob have to come from elsewhere to get them

 

Yup, I have asked every reseller in the U.S. about the white trim. It's not happening. The reason? Sager thinks it's ugly.

Eurocom is the only other resller besides Rock that I could find so far that offers it and Eurocom is 100 times cheaper.

 

lol no problem mine will be coming totally apart next week to get painted anyway.. as long as i have the time.. i hope i can squeeze it in we are soo busy this time of year at the shop ..

 

I'm wondering if I could get the system custom painted to look like the white trim version. What vendor are you using to get yours painted with?

 

Oh eurocom will have it... maybe i should call them and try to deal with them... last time they werent so much expensive than xotic... cheapest m570ru i found was from rjtech

 

my friend is doing it for me at his body shop. using all auto paint.. man i just realized how cheap these are made when taking it apart.. wow. the glossy black trim in the front is simply held on by a few tiny little plastic posts that they melt down to hold it in place and if you look at them the wrong way while the lid is off they snap right off.. the aluminum is only held to the plastic by double sided tape i can pretty easily peel it right if i wanted to.

you could very easy just paint the orange if you want to. just get some fine line auto tape and tape off the line then finish by taping the rest of the notebook and using paper to cover the larger areas then simply spray the orange part and peel the tape off. you can see they paint it the same way it just gets taped in some areas you can see where the orange is not applied smoothly along the line. if for some reason i decide not to do the whole thing im def painting that orange line and also the black aluminum on the lid ill simply peel off the aluminum.. i have the lid off now and in each corner you can see how easy it would come right off

but overall this thing is a breeze to dissasemble if you have any experience at all it really comes apart super easy

 

Just wanted to let you know that Eurocom now has the 5791 with the white trim available for purchase. I am going to order one this weekend but I won't be getting it until the 8800 is released Their prices are very nice for someone who wants to buy in the US. I hope their support is also good.

Yeah eurocom have it... i have order my laptop there... now i have to wait the 20dec
