    Hi,

    I have an awesome Clevo M570TU specs per sig are T9400 2.53Ghz|4GB DDR3 1066Mhz RAM|NVidia 9800M GT 512MB DDR3|17" WUXGA|8x DVD-RW|500GB 5400RPM HDD...

Anyway it has and HDMI and a DVI port - I am wondering if I can run dual monitors off the M570TU either via a dual DVI cable or from the HDMI and DVI simultaneously?

I want to run two 24 inch monitors off this laptop...I don't mind if it the laptop screen isn't on while it's driving the other two monitors but 3 screens would be even nicer! :D

I'd appreciated any thoughts or comments.

I believe these systems can only drive two displats at a time, either it being the internal LCD or external ones.

if you want to drive 3 or more displays at one time, including the internal LCD.
    look towards the Matrox DualHead2Go

2 externals at a time is fine...I know it can do one external and it's own monitor. Was hoping for confirmation on running two externals and which cables I might need - ie 1 x HDMI and 1 x DVI or 1 x DUAL DVI... :)

Dual-DVI does not mean that it will split into two different monitors.

its mainly for use with a single WQXGA (2560x1600) display.

I haven't tried this yet as I don't have an HDMI monitor. There are some really cheap HDMI enabled 22inch monitors available now and I would really like to know if anyone is running dual monitors from their M570TU via the DVI and HDMI ports...

you do not have to use a HDMI monitor.

just get a cheap HDMI-DVI adapter... then then you do two DVI monitors.
