    Hi guys!

I have this little but very annoying problem. I have purchased myself a USB Logitech illuminated keyboard to use with my Xtreme CTX Pro (Rockdirect manufaturer but Clevo based M570U) laptop. However, the problem occurs when I boot my laptop. The boot up screen with ROCK logo and a running blue line on the bottom freezes when the blue line hits the end. The only way to proceed with boot up is to click on the logo from the touchpad on the laptop and manual choose "continue booting" option which is pain in the bottom to do everytime. As soon as the usb keyboard is unplugged the machine boots without such manual procedure. BTW, trying to click ROCK logo from wireless mouse causes machine to freeze even more and manual option to proceed with booting from touchpad is no longer possible...
So a million dollar question is: "How to get rid of this annoying issue and still having my USB keyboard wired up to the laptop?"
I was thinking about BIOS update and found one which "Solves USB keyboard can't work properly under DOS mode problem" here.
Am I on the right path? Will BIOS update solve my issue? How do I update BIOS? I would appreciate a good guidance or link to how to do it.

An additional question is: "Is there anyway to wake the laptop up from the keyboard or e.g. infrared control, so that I dont have to open the lid and hit the power button all the time?"

Thanks for your help and support.
