    Clevo M570U in Bangkok?

    I've narrowed down my laptop search to the Clevo M570U/Sager 5760.

    However, I am in Bangkok, Thailand. Does anyone know of any resellers/distributors in Bangkok? I do not want to buy from a non-Thailand store as the duties are around 25% (25% of $2400 is $600....I do not want to spend $3000!). I have already e-mailed the Asia-Pacific branch of Clevo 3 times over the past week and have received no response.

    On a sidenote...if anyone has any direct connections to the main Clevo branch in Taiwan, tell them their sales and inquiry sucks! They will not do much business if someone comes up to them with $2400 in hand, asks "Where can I buy your laptop", and receives no response. Ridiculous! :-|

    So, let me know of any Clevo/Sager sellers/redistributors in Thailand!

    I did see this list. Thanks though. However, as I mentioned, I want to find a place in Thailand that sells it. Otherwise, I will have to pay an additional 25% for import duties on top of the cost of the already $2400 laptop.

    I have checked Panthip and other big computer places here, but have never seen a Sager anywhere.

    Any help?

    Sager is primarily a known Clevo reseller in North America.
    ITC [Metabox] is well known in Australia.
    Rock [rockdirect] is well known in Europe.
    ....etc....

    lemme see if i can confirm some Clevo resellers in Asia.

    sorry at the moment i cannot truly confirm the Asian Clevo resellers... mainly because I do not read the many different languages.

    I'll have to find them another way.
