My brother just gave me his laptop computer which is a Clevo m570ru (I think the equivalent of a 5791) that has a t7300. Would it be possible to upgrade this laptop with a t9300 or would that require a motherboard swap? Thanks in advance.

I don`t think you need a new mobo. But you might require a new BIOS version. Appart from that, no problem.
