I'm looking to upgrade my CPU to a penryn processor. I have v4.1 motherboard, will it need any modificatoins? I sent an email where I bought it and they simply said "maybe".

ive done it many time.. what do you want to know.. trust me it works fine. ask me what you need to if you want. i have upgraded 5791, 5792 and the 5793 with x9000's they perform perfectly for myself and freinds. if you are overclocking you need the new heatsink and bottom plate. 75$ from sager plus shipping. if you are going to run the x9000 normal speeds you do not need the heatsink. i have been building systems and laptops for nearly 16 years. if you need help lmk

I'm looking at picking up at x9000 myself, so if you're looking for a t9300, I can sell you mine for a decent price.
