Hello everyone,
I finally found a video card that will physically fit into my laptop. It is from a Clevo D900T. However, when I boot it up, the screen has a red tint to it and it is divided into 4 sections. I can use the mouse and click on things, but it is difficult. Extremely frustrating!! I have searched high and low for a card that will work in this machine. The card from the D900T has the exact part# as the one that was in my M57U? ? Is this a video bios problem? If it is, I have looked everywhere for a video bios for a M57U to no avail. Can someone please help me?? I have been without my laptop for 3 months due to this video card issue. I tried baking mine which didn't work, I have tried to find a new one from several manufacturers with no luck. I thought for sure with the same part # I couldn't go wrong. If anyone has any ideas, please share them!! I can't afford a new machine right now thanks to the current economic crunch. This has to be do able. BTW, the card is a Nvidia Geforce Go 7900GTX 512mb. If anyone still has one of these awesome old machines and they can upload a video bios and it works, I would be willing to send a little cash your way for your troubles!! Thanks so much for any help you can give me!!!!

Thanks for posting the link for me pkhetan!! Unfortunately, it did not work. The card I got from the D900T has the same part # 6-71-D90TL-D31 on the card itself as my old 7900GTX, but it turns out it is actually a Nvidia Quadro FX2500 (G71GLM-U). When I try to flash it, I get a error message about the device ID's not matching. The 2500FX is compatible with my M57U. It is listed as an upgrade option in the Clevo manual. I guess what I need now is a M57U video bios for a Quadro 2500FX. This is soooo frustrating!! I cant find anywhere to download Clevo vbios. If anyone can shed any light on this, your help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank You and have a great weekend!!
