Fans on always once powered on.

Maybe, you meant that the fans are on full speed?

If the fan is running at full speed when you first enter windows, it would be a safe bet that it was a software problem.

It sounds like, however, that it's spooling up after the computer is on for a few minutes which means the CPU temps are getting a little high.

If this is the case you may need to repaste your CPU.

As far as I can tell, you're using integrated graphics. That means your video card, or lack thereof, is not the problem.

Give us more details on exactly when the fan spools up. (The moment you press the power button, or when the windows logo appears, or when you've run the computer for a while.)

The fan kicks in after a few minutes when windows has booted up completely, i'll try repasting the gpu

I used speedfan to monitor the temp and its showing 53c with a flame showing next to it indicating its hot.

Will see if the paste settles the temp

I repasted the GPU and its now showing the cpu around 50c a few degrees less, however the fan is still not turning off

What is your ambient temp? 50C is pretty high.. What is your CPU usage?

Your fans are constantly on because your temp is so high.. Have you cleaned out your fan and vents? Where are you using your laptop at (setting it on a table, bed, lap, etc)?

its literally a brand new laptop I have opened it up and repasted the GPU which hasnt really helped, there is a 'M' button on the laptop to put the fans on silent mode but its still draining the battery out in under an hour

I use the laptop on a desk so theres plenty of air circulating at the moment saying that the temp has come down to 45C I've only managed to use it for browsing and nothing heavy on the CPU

Thinking of getting the battery replaced I cant think of anything else
