    Greetings, guys.

I've bought on ebay a nVidia Quadro FX2700M Video Card to replace my dead one GTX260M, just to have a notebook at least for the internet and the movies.
    So I've bought this one.

The problem that it shows nothing, just a weird black screen.
Why weird? Because I never seen such white things in the middle before:

The notebook is fine, I've put the old VC back later and it works ok, but it's working about 1-3 hours and can to BSOD any sec, because it's semi dead.

So, should this VC actually to work or not on M860TU/ETU? Should it have some special vbios to work or any kind should be fine? Also, do you know what is going with the present, this black screen and two lights?
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I have the very same issue. Replaced my dead 9800m GT with an FX2700 and am getting a black screen, BUT sometimes it bootes just fine; after turning it on and off many times. I therefore got a GTX 260m, hell yeah, but having the same problems. I know though, that my BIOS is on 1.00.07 and it can't recognise the 260m properly. I'm finding out right now how to update my BIOS since you first have to go for 1.00.08, which I can't find anywhere on the net, before you can go for the latest version.
Which bios version are you using right now?
