    Can someone post the Hardware ID for the screen of this chassis? For 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 screens if possible.

    1680x1050 ordered in December. I have owned 6 laptops and this is the best screen I've seen yet. The color is vibrant and the viewing angle is incredible.

    My WSXGA+ screen's ID is LPL0000. This is abbreviation means an LG screen.

    QDS is quanta display

    lpl of course is lg display (formerly lg phillips they are no longer lg phillips for notebook displays they are lgd now instead of lplf) that panel on the newest ones shipping will start to read lgd0000

    len4055 is a samung panel model LTN154U2-L05

    Just wondering...why do you need to know the Hardware ID? Are you going to buy a replacement lcd or something as I might want to change the screen of my M860TU once I get it (to a higher resolution :D )

    wow these are using a plethora of displays imo kind of a crap shoot. im suprised they are doing this usually they limit them to one brand or another or at least maybe 2 brands in the same res...
