Whats everybodies screen resolution preference for the model?

Would WUXGA 1920x1200 be too much for the masses on a 15.4" screen?

Alienware are offering WXGA+ 1440x900 and WUXGA 1920x1200. Would WSXGA+ 1680x1050 be suitable for most?

you got my first vote lol
1440x900 is too low for 8800m GTX and 1920x1200 is unreadable for most people

    ah.. it's Rizeon :D

I say WUXGA...the more space to work with the better it is, especially for what i do, mainly design. I guess i can adapt to the smaller text, but i can't live with any lower resolution especially being on a 24" Monitor and now on a 17" notebook screen with WUXGA. Personal preference, I don't think i would buy another laptop with anything less.

WXGA+. 15 inch goes well with 1440x900 and the 8800M GTX will play games at native for a few years...

WUXGA on a 15" seems like it would kill my eyes if i tried to read anything on it.... so WSXGA+ FTW :D

1440x900 for a 15.4 i think 1900x1200 would be overkill on a 15.4 unless you watch movies on this thing that are blue ray then 1900x1200.

For the masses, WXGA+ and WSXGA+ is the best. But users like me are willing to pay the premium for WUXGA

I'd like to see 1440x900 on M860TU :) I won't be doing to much gaming so I just want text size to be nicely readable with not too much strain on the eyes ;)

WSXGA+ for me. Been using a 1400X1050 on my old compal for years so this will just be the widescreen equivalent.

I've gotten bored of the WSXGA+ with my last two laptops, so WUXGA for me.
