    Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had the Service Manual for the Clevo N850EK1/Sager NP6853. I am trying to remove the back panel to get access the HDD slot, but I am not sure where exactly I should pry the panel open and I want to avoid causing any damage.

    Please and Thank you!

Do you have a guitar pick? They are perfect for running around the edge and not needing to pry the panel. You get a few in the ifixit tool kit for such purposes.

The problem is that I don't know where the panel ends towards the end of the display and I don't know where exactly to start pulling from. I do not have a guitar pick but I do have a kit similar to the ifixit toolset. To be fair I haven't been able to remove some screws because they were all dipped in locktite blue. I will mess around a bit more and see what I can do, but the service manual would be really helpful as I am a visual learner.

It looks to me like it's fitted somewhat similarly to the P600 series where it half wraps around most ports. In that case, a good place to pry it apart would be at the ethernet port. Try sticking the pry tool between the port shield and the plastic edge and pry it open.

It also looks like the entire rear grill wraps around the back of the laptop so you have to lever it off from the front to back.
