Hello guys, I just buy a used clevo n850k1 laptop. But strangely I couldn't adjust the display brightness with the hotkey at all. I already tried 2 methods:
    1. disable display driver, then unistall monitor ....
    2. adding "KMD_EnableBrightnesslf2, ....... " to registry
None of them works. I even reinstall the windows, still not work. I can only change the brightness through slider. The other hotkeys are working fine, just the hotkey for changing the brightness doesn't. I even tried the online key input test and f8 f9 working fine.
    I don't know what's wrong, I need your help.

I had a similar issue a few days ago and it was caused by the latest Intel HD drivers...
What is your GPU model and driver version ?

Do you have the latest Clevo Control Center for your laptop model installed?

This is the latest one for your laptop:

    Control Center AP to 5.0001.1.74

Make sure you uninstall the old Control Center (AKA Hotkey DriveR) first, reboot, then install the new one, and reboot.

TIP: When you download a file, Windows automatically places a BLOCKED status on the file. Right click on the ZIP file, go to Properties, then on the bottom right, check the box which says UNBLOCK then hit Apply.

If you don't do this and unzip the file contents beforehand, then every single file for that driver has a BLOCKED status and may not install properly.

Good news,I managed to found the problem. It wasn't the hotkey's driver fault, but the intel's graphic driver.
I installed old version 21.20.16.4550 and the brightness hotkey works now.
