    Hi,
I need to upgrade the CPU.
According to Intel the z370 motherboard still supports up to the 9th gen.
The only question is whether Clevo released or not a BIOS version that does allow it.
Does anyone know? And eventually what BIOS version should update to?
    Help very much appreciated.
    Thanks

Prema did mod the BIOS to make it work, but I'm not sure if the BIOS was ever made public.

More importantly, they recommended against it - The thermals on those processors is just too much.

Thanks for replying, though your answer doesn't really answer my question, but thanks anyway!
I do not intend to instal a "K" version processor, I'd be ok with an Intel i9-9900 non "K", which is 3.10GHz, 65W tdp while the 9900k is 3.6GHz and 95W tdp.
As far as I've been told someone has mounted an i7-9700 on the same Clevo model, which means that some version of the BIOS has unlocked the chipset to the 9th generation of CPUs but not sure for the i9-9900.
    Can anyone tell?

Note with Intel the TDPs are not the real thermal output. The chips do get a lot hungrier than their ratings.
