I am planning on upgrading my deadbeat AUO Optronics display:

To a LG LP156WF3-SLB3 or SLB4. These are RGB LED displays with 10bit colour.

The issue here is that the LG one seem to have two connections, on eBay the seller assures me the main connection is 40pin but even then I know there is 40 pin to 50 pin adapters out there.
The real question is, what is that second adapter? Power source for the RGB LED's?

Original AUO Optronics is WLED, bleeding my eyes from this terrible display and its gone so bad these past years it needs to be replaced as its having considerable more burn in and colour shift.
