Does anyone have a Asus G73/53 or G74 or G75/55 along with an NP8130/9150 or NP9130/9150 that can take a side by side picture of its size and thickness and overall look.

Reason I'm asking is the Sager 15" is about 7lb while the G73/53 75/55 weighs upwards of 8.5-9.5lbs.

By the way I already know that the clevo are much powerful since the gpu are upgradable n such but i'm not interested in that. I'm mainly interested in the weight, thickness and overall dimensions of the Asus and Clevo.

I know that the Asus is more flashy looking while the Clevo is more of a subtle professional sleek black look but i like both so that's no issue for me.

I just want to be able to see a picture of a side by side comparison of any of the Asus G series i mentioned compared to an np8130/8150 or np9130/150 or Malibal or Mythlogic of the same clevo shell.

    Thank You

I work in a computer store that deals with alot of ASUS products and I own a Eurocom Racer 2.0 (Clevo P150). I we get any G55s or G75s in I'll take a couple comparison pictures.
Having seen both screens I can speak of the screen quality however. The matte screen on the G55VW is very nice however the Clevo is more vibrant and clear.

Well, the Sager 15" 7 pounder would be about 15" and 7 pounds. The Asus G series would be between 15" and 17 " and 8.5 and 9.5 pounds. Not sure where your question is?

Although you said in your first post about not wanting performance it is more about the performance vs cost factor and then the ability to upgrade. Asus is less powerful while being more expensive and do not allow you to upgrade their models by making things very hard or soldering their GPU's to the board. How they are still in business is beyond me. I was a lifelong supporter of Asus up to the G73JH but since then they are releasing overpriced underpowered and cheap good looking laptops, Clevo and Sager do not mess about they pick up bland but smart and tidy looking shells and stuff them full of hardware and then give you a variety of options to suit your needs and charge less for more.

If you want to check out pictures contact Hulawafu as he has one and did a review a while back that I cannot find at the moment. The difference from the HM to EM in terms of looks is the backlit keyboard.
