I currently have a standard sized 500GB drive in place of an optical drive. I am looking for a good bit more space and the only 2TB drive available is a 15mm drive ( Western Digital Green WD20NPVT 2TB IntelliPower 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Notebook Hard Drive - Newegg.com). I am quite sure this wont fit into the normal drive slot (where my SSD currently resides) but I believe it might fit into the optical bay. Wondering if anyone has any experience or knows one way or the other. Gonna try to get my hands on a SAS drive to test with if I can find one not in use but I wanted to ask here as well as it would be awesome to have that much space on a secondary disk as opposed to being limited to 1TB. Thanks in advance guys!
