Hi I'm trying to set up a virtual machine in vmware however i stick at the os's splash screen. I read online that it was because of the virtualization option for my cpu (i7-3610QM) i went into my bios but i don't even see an option for virtualization on my laptops bios.

Is it just under a different name or what's up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated let me know if you need more info from me as well sorry if that's the case.

This virtual machine is pretty important i get set up i have a windows 7 one setup that works fine just can't get this one to run. It is Mac OS X by the way I'm contemplating just buying a mac laptop now but would much rather run it on my Clevo.

    Thank you!

It happened to me too, same issue but with P170EM.
Normally the Vt-x is enabled by default in the bios, but for some reasons in clevo they missed it. I had bios version 1.01, then i updated to 1.04.
    Now virtualization works back.

Bios updating is a pretty simple operation, anyway it's very critical cause a mistake or even a lack of power can brick your notebook.
So I'd suggest you to ask Sager or your reseller to send you the last bios updated release and to give you assistance or a detailed guide for the bios update.

My reseller is european, and the guide is not written in english so i'm sorry buddy but i can't help you.
Anyway in few words this is what you should do.

First of all you must create a USB bootable pen drive. Surfing on internet you will easily find how to.
On that pen drive you will move the directory where you uncompressed your bios files.
Don't remove the battery from the laptop and keep it plugged to the power.
What's very important is that the update will be executed in 2 steps and you must respect the right sequence of these two steps.
First of all you must update the EC code.
So, once you booted from the pen drive and you are in the dos prompt, go to the directory you previously copied (CD <name of directory>) and run "ECFLASH.BAT".
After the update is finished the laptop will automatically switch off. Wait some seconds before starting again and reboot from the pen drive.
Always going to the same dir, run MESET.EXE this time.
This will reset once again the system but with the funs spinning to the maximum speed.
At this point, you go for the last time to the directory like before and you run INSTALL.BAT.
Wait that everything is completed and turn on once again the notebook.
I was a bit concerned the first time cause the backlit of the keyboard that normally turns on during the cold boot was shut off but later it will come back.
If everything was ok, hopefully you will start win7 once again and you are ready to go.

This is a rough translation of my guide, but i suggest you once again to ask sager the proper guide in your language. I don't wanna be responsible of a notebook brick for something I told you not precise
Sorry for my english, but i hope you have a better idea of what to do now. Good luck and enjoy virtualization.
