Hello everyone I recently did the foil mod for my GPU and CPU fans inside my laptop and have seen a rather decent improvement.

Been thinking though that at times when gaming or doing stress tests the fans could kick in a little earlier and stronger.

Can I adjust this in some way?

Take into account I am on a European Clevo p150em so I do not have that option of pressing fn+1 as this is disconnected on ours apparently.

Any ideas and help would be great!

    Many thanks!

yup that option has been disconnected and it looks like only sager models can use that option.
Meaker said it can be changed by updating the bios but i guess this will render your warranty void.

I recently updated my BIOS to the latest version. But I guess you are talking about a sort of "hacked" bios which allows for fan control?
Do you have any information on this? Is there somewhere I can read more into this?

Does it not strike you guys as a little strange that they do not allow for fan control? You pay for a top end laptop and this function is not given to the consumer? Quite amazing. Then after paying such a price I also realise that to get my CPU and GPU cores running at good temps I need to apply aluminum foil to block the gaps in the poorly designed fans! Utterly amazing.

You'll find a BIOS mod in my sig, that allows for FN+9 option for full fans. ;)
