or should i keep both and have 16gb of ram?

And another question. This laptop basic has i7-2630QM processor, can i upgrade it to i7-3610QM take out from asus G55VW? I read that it has same southbridge model HM65. A little information about my motherboard

If you have 2 ram slots free there's no reason not to utilize them, as long as it remains stable. Generally mixing brands works out OK in pairs, but potentially has more room for instability. Usually good brands all work together; even if its not %100 optimal it should be stable.

Best way to do it is to try. Plus, removing the keyboard doesn't take very long at all.

As for the processor, if it was originally compatible it will automatically detect the CPU. Just remember thermal paste and apply it carefully/tactfully so you don't cook it :)

But if i am using different brands ram it has different MHZ i thin, and i will be set by lowest ram mhz, i am right?
1 ram is made by Micron
2 ram is made by Team Group INC
3 and 4 is made by Hyundai electornics
Now i am using 16Gb of ram no crashes or something like that. Ohh i forgot after i placed new rams hyundai laptop wont boot. I need to take out rams under keyboard ant place them again only then it strted working.
Yeah i know how to change GPU&CPU thermal paste :D, i dont talk about upgrading cpu if i dont know that.

You'll only be able to use a second gen CPU in your HM series, so the 3610QM wont work.

If you dont use more the 8GB of RAM I would only use the faster RAM. You are right it will still work if you mix the speeds, but all sticks will be at the lower 1333Mhz speed. But if you find you utilize more then 8GB often I would install them all. Its better to have enough RAM that is slower then running out of faster RAM space.
