    Hello recently I bought my new P150HM from BTO notebooks. I have some questions for you guys who have experience with Clevo notebooks :p.

    Here they are:


    1: My HD6970M 2GB idles around 45/50 degrees celcius and gets way up till 92 deg celcius. Are these normal temperatures? It seems very high especially because I have seen others not even reaching these temps while oc'ed.     2: My laptop is always making noise because of the GPU being so hot in idle. I was experimenting when I tried the FN+1 hotkey and I was wondering if it is normal that the fan seems to restart every 4/5 seconds. It's only a short hikkup but its very noticable anyway. Anyone with a P150HM who can test it?


    If anyone knows the answer to one or all of these questions dont hesitate to reply.

    I have done a furmark stress test and I get a max temperature of 100 deg celcius after 15 minutes


    edit: have reapplied the thermal paste (Noctua NH-1) I dropped 18 deg celcius! 82 deg celcius is now the max :D

    edit2: woops that was not valid. I didnt connect the power supply so it ran slower. Ran it now with power supply got to 96 deg celcius with Furmark which is still very hot. Any ideas?

    Ok lijkt me dan dat het zo bedoelt is. Vind 96 graden toch wel hoog zeker omdat anderen 92/93 max halen met furmark. Ik denk dat ik leid aan gadget fever, wat inhoud dat ik me veel te veel zorgen maak om het functioneren van mijn nieuwe gadgets xD ik kan me zo irriteren aan gebreken. is het bij jou ook zo dat als je FN +1 gebruikt dat de fans dan elke zoveel seconden lijken te herstarten alsof je dan weer 2x fn+1 hebt gebruikt. hele korte stop

    Begrijpelijk, je wilt immers dat alles stil is. Maar ik gebruik Furemark niet. Wel kan ik je melden dat bij de 17inch na 3 uur gamen Black ops de temps 72 graden zijn en voor de 15 inch 81 graden. De FN+1 die happeren bij mij ook. Het is net zoals jij beschrijft. Het lijkt wel alsof ze worden onderbroken als ze volop draaien. Je kunt met ati tray tool de voltage van de gpu naar beneden zetten. Op Tweakers forum heb ik snel uitgelegd hoe je dat moet doen. Normaal bij full load gebruikt de kaart 1.1V. Ik heb het nu op 1.0V staan tijdens het gamen. Sommeige games kun je zelfs 0.95V gebruiken en dat scheelt enom in de temps.
    Stuur maar een private mes als je uit gelegd wilt hebben. Ik heb het van deze forum. Wellicht dat je hier ook even kan zoeken. ;)
