    Hi everyone,
    I ordered KINGSTON HYPERX PNP PC3-14900 8GB (2X4GB) CL11 SO-DIMM DDR3 to replace my Kingston 2x4Gb at 1333Mhz.
Does anyone else has this RAM on their P150HM? Does it work well on i7-2720qm? Any "minor" boost performance? :p

Check my sig for my current specs,
    Best Regards to all

I don't think you will notice any speed difference in everyday tasks/gaming. However, you should score higher in benchmarks. I installed the 1600mhz kit yesterday but one of the sticks was DOA so I can't report back on speed just yet.

The average performance difference going from 1333 to 1866 is about 5-10% on benchmarks. As was pointed out, it's not going to be noticeable in everyday usage, but you'll see a slight increase in game frame rates (assuming it's not already GPU/CPU limited) and better synthetic benchmarks.

I ran Memtest86+ v4.20, for more than 10hs with stability and no errors.

Very Happy about this RAM, I hope that when I decide to upgrade to 16Gb it will work like this (Stable and at 1866Mhz).

    Best Regards to all

Yup, but not by much... 2-5 FPS increase, still for me, it was worth the investment :D

I thought 1600 MHz + RAM was limited to two slots on these laptops? Wouldn't you be limited to 8GB max?

I had the exact same doubt, but then I saw this post from Mythlogic:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/616010-anybody-have-hyperx-x-4-modules.html#post7971607
    , then I made my choice ;)
Still...I already asked a few times on the forum for some feedback about this exact subject but only this post from Mythlogic was clear about it.

If I rly am limited to two slots so be it, but at least it will be fast and stable :D

    Best Regards to all

I think you can even use it with an i7-2630qm. I have 16GB hyperx in my P150HM with the 6230qm and it works just fine at 1600mhz.

I put 16GB ddr3-1866 in my laptop just for lulz, haven't seen any difference. Your mileage may vary...

    o_O

You have any screen shots of this by any chance?

Some people in the 8130/8150 owners' lounges threads were asking if ram greater than 1333 mhz would work with the 2630/70qm. I've read from multiple sources that >1333 mhz ram should work with the 2630qm and hm65 chipset, but haven't seen anyone in the Sager/Clevo forums with this configuration post anything about it.
