My 2 yrs old Clevo P150hmx with 6990m are having some issues this few days, it will suddenly go into black screen/ blank screen, and remain unresponsive

Using battery / direct plug-in without battery still the same issue, it will occur in no relevant pattern, gfx with gaming load and without also will occur.

Read a few thread mentioning about MB issue, how do I diagnose whether it is indeed true?

I have clean air vents and gfx is running normal temperature, no artifacts on screen as well.

Anyone can point me to any other threads or solutions with this problem?

PS: No more warranty on this laptop, and did not purchase this laptop in the country im in right now, will need to self-fix this issue

The 6990M is rather notorious for problems, so it could be your GPU. If you are getting the black screens intermittently, the best way to test is to swap components and then try to recreate the problem. I don't know of any good motherboard software testing other than PC Doctor, which is rather expensive.
