A few days ago i noticed the high temperatures of the PCH and SSD in idle, 86 degrees Celsius for the first and around 70 for the latter. The temperature for the PCH jumps to around 105 Celsius when playing something. Also i noticed that the battery last only about 1.5 hours now, compared to about 3 hours before.
Anyone here that encountered this problem?
    Any suggestion will be welcomed,
    Thanks

    welcome to nbr

that doesnt sound too healthy but i have no idea what the average temps should be on ssd's.
what software are you using to monitor your temps.
also what country are you in and whats the ambient room temperature.

when was the last time you cleaned the vents and fans out with compressed air. recommended every 3-6 months and even more frequint if you have pets around the house as hairs can get everywhere and clog up the vents.

also check out some of the free monitoring software in link below.

    Thanks for the welcome

I am currently using AIDA64 and HWINFO64. The laptop is about 2 months old and i already cleaned it today. The CPU and GPU are around 70 degrees Celsius when playing a game. Usually, the room temperature is around 20 degrees.

About the PCH, it's normal for him to go on high temperatures, but you are very close to the Tjmax ( max temp before throttle :108°C).
As your computer is clean, i woudl say that it's kinda software problem, that can explain your poor running time, SSD temp and PCH temp.
Maybe you have some adwares and stuff, or too much things running in background.
I would suggest a format C:/ ( and SSD erase ) and start fresh again.
If you don't want to :
-anti virus scan, anti malware &stuf scann
    -Ccleaner all
    -unninstall all unused programm
-verify wich programm is starting with computer, delete unnecesary ones.

monitor HDD, CPU , RAM usage to detect anything suspicious.

for your SSD, make a backup, just in case ^^

    if no improvments : format C:/ ( really !)
if still no : something is REALLY wrong, use warranty !

Perhaps a faulty report per a faulty sensor? Neither of those areas should be getting that hot, especially the SSD.

The faulty sensor could be an explanation, but the battery drain doesn't seem to be just a mere coincidence. If nothing works, i will try to format the SSD

I had 128 GB msata m550 crucial. Had problem with temperature too. Tried to find the solution on official crucial site. Didnt find the solution. So i changed to 2.5" crucial ssd. Have no problem now.
