    Hi everybody,

I wondering if someone can help me out with a question I have regarding the newly refreshed Clevo P150SM-A with Nvidia 900 series graphics. I'm looking to buy one at the moment.

From what I've heard and read, the screen that comes standard with the laptop isn't exactly the best for colours and viewing and I was wondering if they're happened to be alternative ones you can buy aftermarket and fit to the laptop. I've seen some screens on ebay that seem to do the trick but I'd rather get a second opinion on what to go for and what would be the best to purchase.

Thanks in advance for anyone that helps me out with this.

Also, if anyone is interested, I'm thinking off getting one from here as it seems best for price and spec, allow for upgrading on my side.

The only options are TN panels, the best being the AUO 95% gamut V4 which is getting a little difficult to find.

Ah, darn, was hoping there might of been an IPS or PLS alternative like there is for the P650/51. How good are 95% Gamut panels for Gaming, are their response times okay for it or a bit on the slow side?

There have not been any issues for response times, most TN panels including the higher gamut ones are pretty quick.

The TN panels are the quickest ones out there so the different variations don't tend to be bad at all. The 95% gamut is fine, I used it myself for some time :)

Ah, cheers for the help on this.

Decided to plump for the P651SG over on Scan today as I gave them a phone and got a nice little deal out of them (never hurts to ask). The P651SG I'll be getting will be fitted with a 1080p screen though so going to see if I can find out what the model number is for the 3K version offered by PC Specialist.

    Thanks again for the help.

You would need a new display cable to move to 3k too don't forget.

Yeah, just read that over on another thread, might stick then with 1080p for just now. Wait till higher resolution support comes around. Unless the cable isn't to expensive to get.

It should not be, it's actually getting it which might be tricky.

Oki doki, case of waiting and seeing what the cable will look like and how to get a hold of it.
