    Hello how is all? .,

I have been having issues with my Clevo P15sm laptop. The USB mouse just suddenly stops all the time (30 times a day) exp during gaming to a point where the laptop is becoming more or less useless or a major pain to use ( i love the thing )

I have tried every fix in the book on the web inside out none have worked. *reformat *drivers * power management * disabling/altering devices* multiple mouse checks* multiple port checks* for some reason this only is happening with the mouse any other USB device works fine.

The last thing that is said to be done is the update/flash the bios which i have never done before. some say to disable USB 3 in bios but my current vanilla 1.03.03 bios does not support that option.

I have seen alot of positive reviews on THE PREMA MOD bios and am very fascinated by his work with all the options and tweaks i cant stand to be with out it on my system. Problem is i cannot find the bios or any of his work available on the web to download?

With his website being down i cant seem to find any resources or ways to obtain the bios.

I am looking for the PremaMod either v1 or v2 for the P150SM system supporting gtx780.

Any help or information on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

Due to people stealing his work he shutdown the download links etc.
The issue you're talking about won't dissapear with a new BIOS update. It's likely that this is more a mouse defect than anything else.

As I said it's VERY unlikely that it's your BIOS, I got the same notebook, so the question is, does this happen to all ports? or did you just test 1.

This is likely a driver issue. What drivers did you install? The clevo ones?

As i have stated., i have tested all ports with different mouses over a week period. Drivers are basic drivers that have been uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and as i have stated harddrive and operating system format and reinstall on different Windows OS with still the same problem.

You may have the same notebook but you dont have the same problem.

It leaves 2 options, BIOS or Hardware failure. I would like to strike out BIOS before i start disassembling the laptop and testing out the parts.

For some reason the current stock bios for this model does not support options to change XHCI and USB3

Both don't make sense, because if it is the USB port then why do devices that require more bandwitdh than your mouse work without issues?
    Exacly, it wouldn't be possible.

Has to be software issue. Windows doing something funny with your mouse.

The driver support for our notebooks is very poor. Try to update all drivers to the newest version, I believe my mouse issues were caused by the Bluetooth driver which windows installed on stock on my system, either that or my finger sensor. Since those were the drivers I updated to fix my mouse freezing.

I do not have a Bluetooth on this laptop and i disabled the fingerprint reader but the issue remains.

I have however managed to reduce the amount of times it disconnects by disabling Roothub xHCI and turning off automatic power saver on all mouse and USB related listings (SEE IMAGES ATTACHED) and also disabling the touch-pad via Fn+F1 which im not sure which of those has 'Reduced' the cut outs and studdering but it has gone down to about 5 or 6 times a day from the absurd 30+.

Another bizarre thing to note is that although i had disabled all of ( see images ) for some strange reason occasionally some of those such as 'Generic USB hub' in USB controllers and the 'Logitech gaming USB mouse G400s' in human interface devices would randomly REACTIVE the power saving check ITSELF that i have previously disabled causing it to increase the disconnection rate again.

Also i realised that it would disconnect and reconnect every 3-10 seconds if i sat in game and swirled the mouse around like crazy in a continuous motion.

    Again i appreciate the time.

Have you tried disable the USB suspend in advanved power plan?

    Also try this as well:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/msi-gt73vr-titan-pro-drivers.800622/

Go download the chipset drivers from there and install them, that might fix your issue. And before you ask, yes the driver is compatible with your notebook.

Alright so I was wondering when did this start happening or was it always like this?

because my P157SM doesn't like the newest windows FCU to much and I can't help but feel that your notebook doesn't like Windows 10 FCU either.

It just recently started disconnecting when playing games. now with main usage also.

My P150SM was running Wndows 8.1 when it started happening, so i formatted it and installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 Enterprise., it changed nothing.
