With the new models coming out soon, the older P170/P150/P151 shells are largely discontinued and hard to find at the moment.

Same I am glad I did but looking at the 15 inch it does not look half bad either and considering it is 1080p and still houses the 2760QM with the 6990M I could have overlooked the lesser cooling and gone for it personally.

Grab em while stocks last though in the UK though if there are no more 17 inch left then 15 wont be far off and new tech here will be a bombshell price.

I'm a huge fan of the 15 inch P150 personally. If you want a 17 inch just hold of everythings just around the corner!

......I refuse to admit I wish I had gone for the 15 inch model.......I WILL NOT ADMIT IT :( haha.

But put it this way buying the 17 inch model cost me £700 because I had to buy the M11x to make up for portability. It really is the best of both worlds and has the oompf the M14x doesn't.

on the pcspecialist forums they said that the 15 and 17 inch vortex II notebooks are EOL and are about to go out of stock because they're updating to the P150EM/P170EM or Vortex III's in the next week or so.

Yup new models on the way. Glad I got mine new year when the prices were as low as they can go I still believe Sandy Bridge is the way to go especially with a performance setup because Ivy is going to be all about the power consumption and heat and the prices nice and high. Sadly I couldn't wait to see if AW released an R4 but this little monster does me fine.

As jaug pointed out, the 675m is just a rebadged 580m. They haven't done anything to it other than change the model name. It's still a Fermi model GPU instead of Kepler. The higher end 6xx series will probably be Kepler, but they aren't released at this time.

I can help a little bit here. Last I checked you are looking at at least £80 cheapest being with USPS. Yes you will have to pay customs 20%. Usually the warranty would require you to send it back.

All out of P170HM at the moment sadly, suppliers are waiting for the new EMs. Considered 15.6 or 18 inch if you must buy right away?

I don't have to buy right now.I want 17 or 18 is even better because my laptop never leave my place.I like P180HM the way it looks except the glossy finish.I would love to have this machine with single 580 or 675.
