    Just did a quick look at mine. The port in question does match the one in the wiki. Unfortunately, like the wiki states, you'd only get 5V out instead of 12V being it's a laptop. Hence, you are rather limited to what drives would work this way, unless there's an external power lead involved.

    I use that cable often, works good... But you can only use it on 5v 2.5" drives with our port.

    Powered esata is a combo port since it derives power from the usb pins.
