    Clevo P170HM Bios help!!

    hello,
    yesterday i downloaded the bios for my laptop. all went great it flashed correctly but after it finished, i restarted the laptop and there is no sign of life.
    all black the only light is the power + orange one for Bluetooth , black screen
    as far as i understand the bios flashing was failed :(
    please any idea how to fix it ?

    Did you flash the ec too?

    First, reset the CMOS.

    i downloaded from the website the latest one, ver. P701_EC_08
    pressed the update.bat all finished and the laptop restarted . and no sign of life.

    I might sound dumb but did you run the update.bat inside Windows?

    no i did it in dos, cuz there is no support for 64-bit
    i was doing that most of the time before, but dunno why this time it failed,
    the strange thing that all finished successfully .

    There was a warning note attached to that EC version in the bios thread.
    I dont know what that means though. :(
