    Hi Guys,
Anyone maybe know where I could find a Tv Tuner Module for this Laptop?
    (The Clevo P170HM)
I Managed to find a TV Tuner Module for a Clevo D47EV Laptop on ebay, just wondering if anybone might know if that would work in my Clevo P170HM as well, or not?
    Many Thanks

If any card will work then it's the Yuan MC770A (DVB-T + Analog). It is still listed as a part nr. in the service manual, even though it is no longer listed as a factory option. This system might not even have been sold as officially supporting a tuner card. Might want to check that the cable from the card to the antenna jack is still there ...

Whether the D47EV's will work depends on its interface type; the slot and card can support either PCIe or USB protocol over the same physical PCI slot. The Yuan's type is unclear (seller listings are unreliable), but other Clevo models have used USB.

Let us know how it pans out  .

Is it possible to use m-sata card instead of the tv-turner?

Not aware of a direct adapter, but if this port indeed uses the USB protocol then you might use two adapters:
Speed will be limited to USB 2.0 anyway since that's what the Mini PCIe standard requires. Bit of a waste of the mSATA then, but if you have no other use for it and speed isn't essential then it might be a decent option if you can manage to stash it away somewhere.

If it's not a salvage project, but just the additional storage that matters then this combination is more suitable for this particular slot:
