download latest driver linked in this thread: https://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/topic/31711-geforce-37586-nvidia-mobile-oem/

then download the modded inf file from the second post in the same thread and replace the original inf file from the driver package with that one before installing. also, depending on which windows version ure sporting, ull have to disable driver signature enforcement before installing such a modded driver (on win8 and later)

yss, the driver is just the regular official driver. important is the .inf mod file in the second post of that thread :) so extract the driver package, exchange the .inf file and see if that works.

just make sure that u combine the correct .inf file with the correct driver. u cant just randomly use the .inf file for other driver version, might cause issues.

thing is, the modded .inf needs to contain the hardware ID of your gpu (u can get that via device manager, properties of the gpu). if it doesnt have that, the driver wont be compatible. laptopvideo2go was worth a shot cuz they usually include a bunch of cards :) however, u can mod your own driver to suit your needs, just search for .inf driver modding here on NBR.

    Yes. Succes.

I found another way to do that. Find the files and change it with my hardware id. And im running on 680M right now :)

    Have a question about WIN10.
Will my brightness work if i upgrade to win10?
I really use these FN+F8+F9 keys.

    Someone here know it?

i think as long as you can get the hotkey tool to work, the use of Fn keys shouldnt be a problem. some of them even work without hotkey.

ah yes, the HDMI out issue has been known from the very beginning with HM machines using 7970M and 680M. with the AMD card, we had exactly one case where the user was able to output a signal via hdmi, but we never found out how he did that. as for the 680M, the issues were there as well, but im not sure if that was avoidable by using a different vbios or not...

Yes i read about this problem but i saw that all will work with 680m. But on the 7970m people has problem.
it played an important role in my choice on 680m. Now i need to see if i can find something on the forum :(

Sorry for the stupid question, but did you try pressing the FN-Key + F# key? Or in Windows, select "Duplicate" or "Extend this display"?
