Can anyone help me with this?
I have a Clevo P177SM when i install windows 10 64x works fine until i start updadting it. after the first reboot keyboard an touchpad works fine so i can type the password to enter windows, after a few seconds keyboard and touchpad stop working and after few minutes computer just turn off. i have no idea wat is causing the keyboard to stop working and wy the computer trun off for no reason.

before upadating every thing works fine i left the computer on for 24hours with out a problem, but after i update:

    > Keyboard and trackpad works before login, stops working few seconds after login.

    > Few minutes after login computer simply turns off. Its is so fast that there is no time fo me to try and uninstall any update.

    please help !!!

Can you check in windows event viewer and see if there are any errors noted in there, that might indicate why it is shutting down? Are you able to boot in to safe mode and see if the system will stay up for more then a few minutes there?

so ive just installed windows 8.1 back beacous windows 10 dosen't let me do nothing windows 10 can stay on for more than a minute before turning off, first i thought it might be a driver from the cpu heat sensor. turn off the computer to prevent damage, dont know. for me that could be the only explantaio for a computer to turn off. what if the heat sensor is reading high temps due to any defective drives or inpompatibility

It may be worth taking an image and trying again at some point to see if something was just badly corrupted with the install.

Just signed up to let you know I had the same issue with a 177sm and its a problem with the touchpad driver. If you uninstall the driver windows 10 has upgraded it to (you can right click the start menu to get to device manager and uninstall from there without the need to use your keyboard) you should find your keyboard working again. Currently hunting around for an up to date driver (I do actually like to use my touchpad on occasion) but so far I've only found those from 2013 for Windows 8.1. Anyway hope that helps.
