    Hello all,

I just did a fresh install of windows 7 on my P180 from Mythlogic.

Of course i downloaded and installed the latest video driver from amd which is CCC 13.4, i am using dual 6990m

This software is not giving me an option to enable crossfire anywhere in it. Both cards are recognized in device manager under Display Adapters.

Also in my toolbox if i right click on the CCC icon it shows me 4 display adapter setting options (this always was true for when crossfire is disabled, whenever i had it enabled it shrinks down to 2, im not sure why).

Also if i go into CCC Start>Information>Product Summary>Hardware it shows me two cards. Primary Adapter, and then below that, Disabled Adapter. I have no clue what is going on here how do i fix it so i can get my crossfire back?

Do you see the CrossFireX option in CCC? That needs to be enabled.

Perhaps this thread may be of some help. There's also this, which pertains to the 6990m specifically, but not on Clevo.

Did you have Crossfire before you reformatted. You may have to go back to previous drivers to get it back.

I would test the 2nd card by itself because a faulty card could cause the behavior. When you put drivers that do try to enable both it could be activating the 2nd card and if its broken you would get screen corruption.

You may have to do another clean install and just use the stock drivers from the beginning.

If your arent too invested in the new Windows install consider doing another clean one. Since it was working before you reinstalled Windows and after you're having issues its gotta be a software or drivers issue. Sound like you've done pretty much all one would do to try to fix it. Reinstalling Windows again and just using the stock drivers would be your next step.

i just changed over to a new crossfire cable, and it didnt work. im at a total loss as to what to do.

I did previously try a fresh windows 7 install a few times actually and it didnt work
The stock drivers have alot of issues, the screen coloring is completely off when i try to use to stock drivers to the point that i cant even see anything
