    Hello,
BF4 operates well on your laptop?,on what settings you're playing BF 4
AMD 7970M is not a good performance, even the latest driver does not allow for smooth gameplay mode Ultra settings
    Single AMD 7970M:

Mantle maybe could help to boost some more fps (many people would say +- 20% boost), lets hope they right.

    I only play bf4 singleplayer and I get min:35 max:90 avg:50 on clevo P150EM 13.11 b9.4.

Game settings are: high ssao 1080p no AA offcourse and singleplayer snow map.

I hope AMD unleash more performance with drivers and mantle !

I'd suggest toning down some of the more frivolous settings and maybe tweaking the 7970M.

that is, the BF 4 does not work correctly on a mobile GPU with Ultra settings?

If your 7970m one of the first rev, and your vbios CLEVO 7970M - P150EM - 015.018.000.000.000000.P150EMPX.001 , then you can safely update it to version
Clevo P150EM 7970m vBIOS 015.024.000.001.043596 BR43596.001 8162012 and you will get some fps boost in few games , in BF4 its about 4-5 fps. Also you can use some graphical tweaks that do not degrade the image quality, but increase fps ! creat user.cfg file in your bf4 directory and paste this
    RenderDevice.Dx11Enable 1
    RenderDevice.Dx11Dot1Enable 1
    RenderDevice.Dx11Dot1RuntimeEnable 1
    RenderDevice.TripleBufferingEnable 0
    WorldRender.TransparencyShadowmapsEnable 0
    WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0
    WorldRender.MotionBlurForceOn 0
    WorldRender.MotionBlurFixedShutterTime 0
    WorldRender.MotionBlurMax 0
    WorldRender.MotionBlurQuality 0
    WorldRender.MotionBlurMaxSampleCount 0
    WorldRender.SpotLightShadowmapEnable 0
    WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable 0
    PostProcess.DynamicAOEnable 0
    PerfOverlay.DrawFps 1

Yes as expected as a properly coded game should be pushing ultra settings on a pair of GTX 780ti (or indeed on my pair of 780Ms) cards while on ultra settings while still looking good on lower platforms.

Unparking cores apparently helps a bit with BF4.

Nice! It is still not the Mantle update, right? Really expect us 7970m and 8970m users to see a nice performance boost. It's AMDs future on the line. Hope they play their cards (literally) right :p

Honestly I don't understand the need of putting the game on ultra :p I personally play on high setting and it never ever drops below my capped 60 fps(usually hovering between 70-80 fps), not even on 64 player maps... Game looks awesome + don't forget these are laptops we are talking about :p want high performance desktop style @ fullhd? Go sli/crossfire :)

A fully tweaked 780M approaches performance levels of a stock 680M SLI setup so some cards can get in that territory ;)

Ultra settings do usually warrant SLI though especially if you want to run at a higher refresh rate too. But it's not an option for everyone.

I have p370em but with 7970m cfx- and with same settings get 60fps but with random dips to about 40 on certain levels - Like others say best to turn down a few of the less obvious settings - It seems a rare thing today to get a new pc game fully optimized to run at 60fps, even if you have the power - you will have to turn a few things down.

I really think AMD is doing this on purpose, only because of the MANTLE.

So, when the BF4 finally update, AMDwill magically "fix the things" just to show that mantle is the best..

O my P150EM STOCK clock, on ULTRA with no AA, playing 45~60 FPS in some maps, and 30~45 in others..
