It usually wont show in Device Manager until you either activate it or assing it a letter/path. You can do this in disk management. Right click on Computer > Manage > Disk Mangement (couple options below device manager) if you see it there you can then right click and assing letter/path.

It's possible the BIOS mod is the problem, but I doubt it. You may consider contacting Prema about that.

So the drive in the caddy does not show up in BIOS either? Which caddy did you purchase?

Can you take one of the older disc and put it in the optical bay to see it if recognizes that. Maybe its the new drive you're trying to put in. Or try putting the new drive into one of the hard drive bays to see if its recognized in there.

So we know the disc does work, try taking one of your other drives and putting it in the caddy in the optical bay and see if it recognizes that. If it doesnt, see if you can hook up the drive directly to the connections without the caddy to eliminate it being a bad caddy. You wont want to keep it like that since it wont be secure but it will help troubleshoot a little more.

Aye, verify that the caddy is working as a first. If it's DOA or incompatible for whatever reason, it's best to find out ASAP, should you need to request a refund or exchange.

OK so disk from caddy is working fine in primary bay...but disk from primary bay isnt still working in caddy...i cant connect disk directly without caddy cause is different conector:
    hdd-vs-optical-drive-connector.jpg

so its bad caddy or one sata slot on motherboard is wrong...or bios, i will try flash original bios tomorow.
