Hi. Tried lastpass forums and their support.

So far i've tried several times to get Lastpass to detect my fingerprint reader and no avail so far..

I needed to format my laptop, because of a BSOD i was having with some foreign drivers.
So i made it clean with an original windows 8.1 Pro dvd that i own, and after installing all drivers from Clevo's site, i end up being unable to get lastpass to recognise my fingerprint reader. I do have fingerprints saved to login on windows, and i do sucessfully login with my fingerprint. The problem is mainly lastpass, i tried to reinstall it several times, run in compability mode and nothing.

    Anyone uses it? Any tips?

    I tried this: https://forums.lastpass.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=138925

    And doesn't work :(

Have you tried saving your fingerprints again, sort of "formatting" the fingerprint reader software?

Before replying to you, i did remove all my finger tips from windows account logins and recorded both my left and right index fingers.

    nothing.

    Stays like this always:

Hmm interesting.. I have never encountered any fingerprint problems with mine except for minor occasional lags. Never tried it on a forum though. I'll make a search on this and see if I can help you

I'd appreciate it my friend. The weird part of it is that it was working perfectly before formatting my laptop... and suddenly doesn't :(

I'll buy you a beer if you help me :D

Are you missing the fingerprint driver or something? Is anything showing that a driver is missing in your device manager?

Already did and their only reply so far (1 week from now) was:

I do have the binary installed and with the universal installer it still doesn't work!

Ok i think i found the solution for it because now it does detect the fingerprint reader!!!!!

    http://prntscr.com/6ch3b2

I did install the latest Intel ME drivers:

    http://prntscr.com/6ch4r0

    10.0.30.1054

And installed the fingerprint driver from a portuguese retailer (who i am not afiliated with):

    https://mega.co.nz/#!dhQmgALa!yBrVmW5bJEcviuS1O-nEgMf2sZCB_p0o70baOjKncw0

(mirror was posted to avoid any connection to that store)

So right now it does detect my fingerprint reader and i am able to use it in lastpass sucessfully :D
