Okey, in Norway there is only one dealer which is selling clevo laptops and it will only sell the P570W with 780M SLi. Since the 880M is out, I really want to just spend a few extra dollars on the newer 880M but when I will need to get it outside Norway and thats just gonna be a hassle if I get problems with my laptop. (after having 3 Alienware I know performance laptop have a bad habbit on breaking down).

Dell is not releasing their 880M before June (meaning it will not be available to us before the end of the summer) and I dont wanna wait that long.

My question is, should I just go for the 780M SLi setup? With decent OC, will the 780M perform the same as the a OC 880M?

Does your local Clevo dealer have any ETA on when they will get the 880M? Even here in the States Sager won't have them until the 21st. If they will get them soon I would wait.

Not sure what dealer he is speaking about, But Multicom.no seems to get their P375S with 880m SLI on the 24 of april.
Some models seems to get the 880m on the 4 and 10 of april. But none SLI.

Yeah, ETA is middle of next week from Multicom.

Problem is that the P375S from multicom only has a 4700QM CPU..

The 780M SLI setup will outperform a single 880M, but only in applications that can utilize SLI. Apples to apples, a 880M will outshine a 780M, but not by a huge margin. Ultimately you need to decide which would suit your wants/needs more. If you don't mind waiting and don't need a system now, and if you still have the budget for a 880M machine, hold off. If not, the 780M SLI will still treat you well.

It will nudge past the 780m and not by much in normal game play.
