So my Clevo P670RS-G is always really hot. After undervolting the 6700hq it stays at about 85C under load which seems fine to me but the gpu gets hotter.

The GTX 1070 goes above 90C when under full load and about 80C at 50% load. this is both with the standard fan speed (which is loud btw). Also the gpu clock always remains at 1750-1800mhz for some reason. Even when the gpu is 90C.

These temps were all recorded with a repasted cpu/gpu and a cooling pad (good ventilation on the bottom). There is also no dust inside the laptop.

    My questions are:

    - Are these temperatures normal with this laptop.
    - Can these temperatures damage components inside my laptop?
    - Is there anything I can do about this? I hoped it might be possible to onderclock or underrvolt the gpu to make it run cooler somehow. Maybe a bios update?

    repaste properly

Same system Btw with MX-4 Paste
Tried using liquid metal but not enough contact so hit the temps you had
another repaste with something different could improve my temps further

Never went above 70 on load so far unless its extremely heavy then the manual max fan hotkey drops it below

50% CPU and 75% GPU Usage peaked at 69c
